Trumpeter 1/32 F8F-1 Bearcat "Beetle Bomb"

In 1949 a F8F-1 Bearcat "Beetle Bomb" replaced the North American SNJ in the Blue Angels aerobatic Team as a simulated enemy target. As the team transitioned to the F9F Panther in mid-1949 the F8F "Beetle Bomb" was used in a pre-show advanced aerobatic display.
