Pacific Coast Models 1/32nd Supermarine Spitfire Mk IXC

By Michael Woodgate

Here is another of my Spitfires. This time it is the Pacific Coast Models Supermarine Spitfire Mk IXC. The model was mostly built out of the box except for some parts that were left over when I built the Tamiya Spitfire Mk VIII.

I used the bombs and bomb racks, undercarriage doors, small slipper tank and cockpit door. I used EagleCal Decals to depict an aircraft from 453 Sqn RAAF flying out of England in early to mid 1944.

While this kit is not in the same league as the Tamiya Spitfires it still makes into a nice model and looks good along side my Tamiya Spitfire Mk VIII.
